Some believe that the EU is the 10 headed beast.
This article indicates that the EU is scheduled to dissolve in 2011.

Daniel 7-8 may indicate that the EU (with the horn of the U.S.) will conquer Iran, and use that victory to establish the NWO with 4 horns. The power of the 10 nations in the EU will be given to the beast with 4 horns/NWO possibly in June 2011. The antichrist may emerge from the beast with 4 horns.
