The Jewish Roots of Christianity are where things may really start to make sense ! Feast of Trumpets ~ The Rapture

by on Aug.23, 2010, under The Rapture

It is The Power of God To Conceal a Matter, But The Glory of Kings To Search it out

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,

(This is what happened during a Jewish Wedding back in Jesus Time – Someone or the Bridegroom would alert the Bride {Today=The Church} That the Bridegroom was arriving with a Shout!)

and with the trump of God: (The Rapture Could take place At The Feast of Trumpets) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, (The Rapture) to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Leviticus 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Numbers 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

A Holy Convocation is an Assembly — You could say the same as to The Rapture – The Gathering/Assembly of The Church !

It really could be this :::

  1. Passover = Jesus Crucifixion
  2. Unleavened Bread = Jesus Burial
  3. First Fruits = The Resurrection
  4. Pentecost = The Sending of The Holy Spirit
  5. Trumpets = The Rapture
  6. Day of Atonement = The Tribulation
  7. Tabernacles = The Millennial Kingdom

Hi Tina, God’s Blessings to you 🙂

Don’t Trust me, Trust God 🙂

Listen to this — Perry Stone was saying on the Feast of Trumpets they sound it may be 100 Trumpets – with the last one being maybe a long sound with different variations to the sound (or maybe their all like that, if there are a 100)

That kind of takes care of these two verses ::

The Lord will descend from Heaven with a shout (what the Bridegroom did or someone did to alert the Bride {with a shout} during the arrival of the Bridegroom at an Ancient Jewish Wedding) and with the Trumpet of God (This could be The Feast of Trumpets).

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, (could be like or literally the last trumpet {100th Trumpet?} sounded at The Feast of Trumpets) and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Ancient Jewish Wedding paralleled to the Rapture is like Illumination from the Lord 🙂 God’s Blessings to you !!! 🙂

    Matthew 25:1-13

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
