Glory ::: God’s Prescence is Life Itself :: Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

1 Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

1 Corinthians 15:4250 ….It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Glory – (Heb. kabhod; Gr. doxa) ::: Easton’s Bible Dictionary*

# Abundance, wealth, treasure, and hence honour (Psalms 49:12); glory (Genesis 31:1; Matthew 4:8; Revelation 21:24,26).

# Honour, dignity (1 Kings 3:13; Hebrews 2:7 1 Peter 1:24); of God (Psalms 19:1; 29:1); of the mind or heart (Genesis 49:6; Psalms 7:5; Acts 2:46).

# Splendour, brightness, majesty (Genesis 45:13; Isaiah 4:5; Acts 22:11; 2co 3:7); of Jehovah (Isaiah 59:19; 60:1; 2th. 1:9).

# The glorious moral attributes, the infinite perfections of God (Isaiah 40:5; Acts 7:2; Romans 1:23; 9:23; Ephesians 1:12). Jesus is the “brightness of the Father’s glory” (Hebrews 1:3; John 1:14; 2:11).

# The bliss of heaven (Romans 2:7,10; 5:2; 8:18; Hebrews 2:10; 1 Peter 5:1,10).

# The phrase “Give glory to God” (Joshua 7:19; Jeremiah 13:16) is a Hebrew idiom meaning, “Confess your sins.” The words of the Jews to the blind man, “Give God the praise” (John 9:24), are an adjuration to confess. They are equivalent to, “Confess that you are an impostor,” “Give God the glory by speaking the truth;” for they denied that a miracle had been wrought.
