The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) — The Day of the Pre-Trib Rapture 🙂

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, (die) but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, (Jewish Idiom for Twilight) at the last trump: (Alluded To The Last Trumpet at The Jewish Gathering of Trumpets {Rosh Hashana} it could or may be – The Tekiah Goldiah – 100th Trumpet) for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (The Rapture)

It is The Power of God To Conceal a Matter, But The Glory of Kings To Search it out

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,

(This is what happened during a Jewish Wedding back in Jesus Time – Someone or the Bridegroom would alert the Bride {Today=The Church} That the Bridegroom was arriving with a Shout!)

and with the trump of God: (The Rapture Could take place At The Feast of Trumpets) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, (The Rapture) to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Leviticus 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Numbers 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

A Holy Convocation is an Assembly — You could say the same as to The Rapture – The Gathering/Assembly of The Church !

It really could be this :::

1. Passover = Jesus Crucifixion
2. Unleavened Bread = Jesus Burial
3. First Fruits = The Resurrection
4. Pentecost = The Sending of The Holy Spirit
5. Trumpets = The Rapture
6. Day of Atonement = The Tribulation
7. Tabernacles = The Millennial Kingdom

Thus the Lord performed exactly in accordance with the first four feasts of Israel. He will do the same in the future, it is clear. We expect the Rapture of the Church on the fifth feast, the Feast of Trumpets (I Thess. 4: 16-17). We expect the return of the Lord to the earth for the start of the Kingdom on the Day of Atonement, when “all Israel will be saved” (Zech. 12:10, 13:1; Romans 11:26). And finally, the Lord will setup His Tabernacle in Jerusalem appropriately enough on the final feast, the Feast of Tabernacles. The tabernacles hark back to the shelters the Lord gave the children of Israel in the wilderness, and indeed the Lord’s Tabernacle will shelter us on this earth for the duration of the Kingdom. These final three feasts are explained in Leviticus 23:24, 27 and 34, respectively. Next “Paragraph” re-structured/edited by me: We say all of that above to show that the Lord, Who never omitted a Jewish feast, fulfilled each one even in:

1. His crucifixion = The symbol of Passover is the sacrifice of the lamb, and Jesus fulfilled it on the cross
2. Jesus Burial = The symbol of Unleavened Bread is the body of the Lord buried in the earth
3. His resurrection = First Fruits, which we now call “Easter”, came on Sunday (Lev. 23: 10-12), and indeed the Lord rose as the first fruits of those to be resurrected (I Cor. 15:22-23)
4. His sending of the Holy Spirit = The fourth feast is Pentecost, 50 days later (Lev. 23:15-16), and the Lord sent the Holy Spirit – in a great harvest Three thousand people were saved that day
5. The Rapture ! His return at the sound of the trumpet = We expect the Rapture of the Church on the fifth feast, the Feast of Trumpets (I Thess. 4: 16-17) (Rosh Hashana)
6. His second coming on the day when Israel atones = We expect the return of the Lord to the earth for the start of the Kingdom on The Day of Atonement, when “all Israel will be saved” (Zech. 12:10, 13:1; Romans 11:26)
7. And His establishment of His Kingdom on Tabernacles = And finally, the Lord will setup His Tabernacle in Jerusalem appropriately enough on the final feast, the Feast of Tabernacles.
