    Vic,
I did not know how to get in touch with you other than this method, but i wanted to help you out a little with your heading. Matthew 25 is not the Rapture, but the 2nd Coming (Advent) of the Lord, with His armies (the church) and angels (Revelation 19). The Rapture is located in I Thessalonians 4.13-18, II Thessalonians 2.1 (v.2 is referring to the 2nd Coming as described in Revelation 19/Matthew 25), I Corinthians 15.51-58, II Timothy 4.8 (appearing), Titus 2.13 (blessed hope) and Revelation 4.1-2 (to name a few).

It is easy to get these confused if you do not rightly divide the Word of Truth, but Matthew 24 is dealing directly with Israel during the tribulation period, the 2nd Coming of Christ in chapter 25 sets the 1000 year reign of Christ’s earthly kingdom. This is a great site with some good links, search the Omega Letter archives and I am sure Jack’s would have helped before the incorrect heading was placed on the page.

Take care and Lord bless. I like your testimony, I too am 37 years old and saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

    Til the Shout,

    Hello Pastor Stagner :)

Thank you for being at the site :) & Thank you for Your Comment :)

I must humbly disagree with you about Matthew 25 being the 2nd Advent — I’m still holding onto God’s Love that Matthew 25 is the Rapture :) :) :)

    Maranatha! :) My Brother :)

Yo! What the heck…its in the bible, and the bible is the truth from cover to cover. Isn’t that all that counts! God loves you all and he will take those who love him (and do his will) but we are not perfect and he knows this so don’t worry about failing for we are like children learning to walk…now and then we go bump back on the ground but God is there to pick us up and say “C’mon son/daughter, I love you! You can do it!” It’s with that motivation and strength of God that we do so.

Again, somewhere in the bible paul says “I can do all things in Christ Jesus. Yes it is good to konw where scripture are but even better, I believe, it is to say the scripture in the time of need and WHEN NEEDED! I think you are doing a great job but be careful not to scare anyone from Christianity!

    Your bro in Christ, Ash-man!

    Love u all!!

I wanted to clarify something, the Ten Virgins does indeed refer to the Jews during the Trib but the statement in vs.13 is enigmatic in some respects. “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” This can be applied to the Rapture and rightly seems to be so only because we know the date of the appearance of Christ for the final phase of the second advent, 7 years after the beginning of the trib. Zola Levitt agrees. See July 2000 Volume 22, Number 7 newsletter.

There is debate whether v. 13 goes with the Parable of the Ten Virgins or with the Parable of the Talents.

    God bless!
