Matthew 25:1-13 :: Parable of The Ten Virgins

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. (Jesus is just saying The Kingdom of Heaven is like 10 Virgins {Christians/Believer’s in Yah’shua}

2 And five of them were wise and five were foolish. (Self Explantory)

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: (Self-Explantory) (Jesus “Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do the things I say – depart from me ye who work iniquity, I never knew you”)

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. (Matthew 25: 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 🙂 Luke 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities).

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Jesus Return at The Rapture — Yah’shua (Jesus) is returning as the Bridegroom for His Bride The Church {The Church is portrayed as The Virgins in the Parable}

7 Then all those virgins (Christians/Believer’s in Yah’shua) arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. (Self Explanatory — The Worldly Christians vs The Faithful Christians)

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so;  lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. (The wise Virgins – The Christians/The Bride, saying to the unfaithful Christians/Whoremongers, it is too late, you have not been faithful, Jesus has not been your first Love).

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Yah’shua arrives for His Bride The Church, those that are watching for His Return/faithful go to The Marriage of The Lamb !)

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. (The Un-Faithful Christians do not get Invited to the Marriage of the Lamb)

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (The Rapture) which could really happen on a future Feast of Trumpets (the Feast where no man knows the day or hour of when it will begin) and there is a good possibility it could take place in 2014 or 2016!

The Marriage Supper of The Lamb — Revelation 19:9 – And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.  

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

\o/ The Saints Are Happy In Heaven because they followed Christ. They rejoice with Him Forever…..

The Lord is my inheritance and my cup; He alone will give me my reward. The measuring line has marked a lovely place for me, my inheritance is my great delight.

The Rapture – A Crown Given to All Who Love Jesus Appearing! ::: 2 Timothy4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The Bema Seat – Store Up Treasure in Heaven! (Bema-Seat Web-Site) We will receive a Reward or maybe Rewards and/or a Crown(s) –– This judgment may determine our: “Glory, Honor, Status, Reigning Power, Domain” — During the 1,000 Year Millennial Reign of Jesus — We may be judged on everything — Our Faithfulness and Obedience to God, in doing what God has said to do in this Life. Examples ::: Resist Temptation, Obey, (Conduct/Behavior/Decisions) – Loving God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength, Loving our Neighbor as our self — Feeding The Poor, Clothing The Naked, Sheltering The Homeless, Visiting the Sick and Imprisoned, (if we can’t do these things, giving to ministries that do, is hopefully just as good :)) – Evangelizing, Winning Souls, Fisher of Men.

Revelation 22:12 – And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  

The 1,000 Year Millennial Kingdom or Millennial Reign of Jesus — We will be Kings and Priests if we are with Jesus when we leave this life, either by Death or Rapture. The Millennial Temple will be in Service as Written in the Book of Ezekiel, And Three of The Feasts of Yahweh – will be instituted again as well it may be ><> 🙂

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,….

The Millennial Reign is one of the best things to live for in this life, because for a 1,000 Years we will be Kings and Priests ! Depending on our Faithfulness in this life to Jesus, our Works at The Bema Seat may determine how much “Reigning Power” we will have during the Millennium. (King of maybe a town? King of a City? King of 3 cities or more? King of a State? King of a Country/Nation?)

The New Jerusalem – The “Glory” of Our Houses/Mansions could be determined possibly by how we have lived our life on earth in relation to Jesus/The Bible.

The Crown of Life — James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, (approved) he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Jesus Throne — (The Most Eminent of All The Blessings promised to the 7 Church’s) {To those who overcome} [resist temptation and choose/stay faithful and obey/Love Jesus] — Revelation 3:21 — To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Romans 8: 16….we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Eternity/The New Heaven/New Earth — God will wipe away all tears and the former things will not be remembered nor come to mind! How awesome is that 🙂

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Daniel 12:3 – And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

In several parables, Jesus indicated that faithful disciples would receive great rewards. Sometimes the reward is described as rulership, but Jesus also used other ways to describe our reward.

In the parable of the vineyard workers, the gift of salvation is symbolized by one day’s wage (Matthew 20:9-16). In the parable of the virgins, the reward is a marriage banquet (Matthew 25:10). In the parable of talents, the reward is described in general terms: being put “in charge of many things” and being able to “share your master’s happiness” (vv. 20-23).

In the parable of sheep and goats, the blessed disciples are allowed to inherit a kingdom (v. 34). In the parable of the servants, the faithful servant is rewarded by being put in charge of all the master’s possessions (Luke 12:42-44).

In the parables of the pounds, the trustworthy servants were given rulership over cities (Luke 19:16-19). Jesus promised the 12 disciples rulership over the tribes of Israel (Matthew 19:28; Luke 22:30). Members of the church in Thyatira were promised authority over the nations (Revelation 2:26-27).

Jesus advised his disciples to “store up for yourselves treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:19-21). By this, he implied that what we do in this life will be rewarded in the future…

To Clear up The Confusion of : “What is A Talent?”  In Relation To The Parable of The Talents — Hint it is not a “Talent” God has given, like:  Sports, Singing, Sculpture, Painting/Art Work, Writing, Architecture, Design, Teaching, Tradesman, Businessman, etc.., but those things – in an indirect/direct way, relate to the meaning of the word Talent in the Parable 🙂 !

This is what a Talent is, A Talent is A Large Sum of Money — In The Parable it is a sum of money given to a Servant from His Master according to his ability — The Parable is telling us Jesus wants us to do Business Until He Returns – Business For Him and just “Human Responsibility” – http://www.jacksequeira.org/bstudy18.htm

This is what a Talent/Mina is ::
Here’s the calculation:

• 1 talent = 60 minas
• 1 mina = 3 month’s wages
• 1 talent = 60 x (3 months’ wages) = 180 months’ wages
• 1 talent = 180 months’ wages / 12 months in a year = 15 years’ wages
• 1 talent = 15 years’ wages

So if a yearly wage is $15,000 (about 40hrs/week at CA min wage ($8/hr), Then:

That’s kind of a lot of ‘money’ Jesus has given to us 🙂  — In talking about Mina’s I think Greg Laurie was saying that is maybe just a person’s life.  — Greg Laurie – Minas —

The Parable is telling us Jesus wants us to make something happen/To do Business For Him.  Also, to maybe just make the most out of our lives but with a major focus in Relation to Jesus Kingdom.

Remember This :: Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed (The Word of God) into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

The Business that Jesus wants us to be about doing ::

• Evangelism – Fisher of Men – Giving our Lives to The Gospel as much or best as we can – Handing out Tracts (Preaching, Teaching – if this is our gift/place in The Body) — Edifying each other/The Body of Christ.  | — 1 Corinthians 12 | 1 Corinthains 13
• Feeding The Poor, Sheltering The Homeless
• Visiting The Imprisoned and Sick
• Clothing the Naked/Giving Water to someone — In Jesus Name
• Utilizing our Gifts from the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12 or 1 Corinthians 13 (Love)
• If we can’t do some/lot of things above, giving to Ministries that do those things is Hopefully just as good ! 🙂

The Catholic Catechism says: The Purpose of Life is: To Know, Love & Serve God – So if anyone is living their life without these three things in view, that person’s life is pretty much null and void – even though they may be a Successful Person by the world’s standards, i.e. Money, Job, House, Business, Stocks and such.

In Relation To Our “Abilities” in Relation to the Money of Talents being distributed — Each person is given money according to their Abilities :: Defintion of Ability

But Let’s Remember All These Things Too ::

Interesting to note in America :: If you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food in the refrigerator, you are among the top 75% Richest in The World.

If you have money in your wallet, bank and some spare money/change in a dish you are among the top 92% Richest in The World — The Scripture Verse: To whom much is given, much is required.

The Parable of The Minas (Greg Laurie Message) – has a Millennial Reign Aspect to it possibly — In The Book of Revelation it says we will be Kings with Jesus and will Rule and Reign with Him. It could be how we have lived our life on earth, will determine how much authority we will have — Maybe Jesus will set some as ruler over 10 cities, or over a Nation etc..

The Bible says too, that God will wipe away Every Tear — There is probably going to be in The Millennium, Differing Degrees of Exaltation — Hence when Eternity Starts after the Millennium, this could be when God wipes away all tears.

At The Bema Seat of Jesus – A Person’s Life is going to be Evaluated — Some may do good and others not so good.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat (Bema Seat) of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

In Relation to the picture :: Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

The main reason for this post is for a small exposition/explanation of Luke 21:25. Let’s take each aspect of the verse and see what we come up with.

Luke 21:25 could be referring to the general time of Jesus Return or be referring to a time very near to the 2nd Coming of Jesus at Armageddon.

What is interesting about the verse is that we are seeing/starting to see: ‘upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.’

Here’s the small exposition of Luke 21:25 ::

1. There shall be signs in the sun – The Sun could bring a Super Solar Storm in 2012. Major Solar Prominence June 2011
   
2. There shall be signs in the moon – A Tetrad of 4 Blood Red Moons on YHWH’s Feast Days in 2014/2015 – Could Signal The start of The Tribulation beginning maybe in one of the years of 2013 to 2016.
   
3. There shall be signs in the stars – Transit of Venus across the Sun – June 2012 – will not happen this Century again may be the call. [Mark 13:25 may be the ultimate ful-fillment of the signs in the stars]
   
4. Upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring — This is a major point :: Distress of Nations with Perplexity seems to be right around the corner for the whole world in relation to the Economy.

• Japan at the moment is in perplexity with their Nuclear Plant
• Australia was probably in perplexity not that long ago with major flooding
• Christchurch, New Zealand possible perplexity with an Earthquake(s)

The last point of: ‘The Sea and the Waves Roaring‘ = A lot of Hurricanes during the first decade of 2000 ::: Tsunami in Japan, March 11, 2011 ::: Tsunami 2004, Indian Ocean

End: Analysis/Deduction

Rapture note 🙂 – The Rapture happening on The Feast Day of Yom Teruah/The Feast of Trumpets may really be the call ! 🙂  2013-2016 Could Be Serious Feast of Trumpets Rapture Watch Years — God’s Blessings 🙂 ( Keep on the Watch for Jesus/Yeshua to Return on any day too – just in case 🙂 )

This is happening now, but will find it’s total ful-fillment during the End, and may coincide with another event that takes place 3-1/2 Years before Jesus Return at Armageddon: The Anti-Christ proclaiming himself to be God, in a New Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (This will most likely take place during the Final 7 Years of The World)

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Years of :: 1900-1944 | 1945-1989 | 1990-2002 | 2003-2010

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  This is a Big Verse — We have WWI | WWII | Rwanda Genocide | U.S./Iraq | Congo | Sudan | March 11, 2011 – Ivory Coast | List of Famines – Article | Pestilences – Fish dying everywhere – Australia/California – Birds dying too | Earthquakes in the World the Last 7 Days | Earthquakes 2000 – 2011 | Good Article at worldnetdaily about earthquakes |

Matthew 24 – Earthquakes – 6.0 Magnitude plus

1890-1900= 1
1900-1910= 3
1910-1930= 4 (20 year space of time)
1930-1940= 5
1940-1970= 13 (30 year space of time)
1970-1980= 56
1980-1990= 310
1990-1994= 747

From: 9/26/07 – 9/30/07  ( 4 days ) There were 12 – 6.0 plus Earthquakes = Sign of Jesus Return

USGS.gov has this amount of 6.0 + Earthquakes from 2000-2007 ::

1,198 = triple the amount of all the 6.0 + Earthquakes from 1890-1990 (100 years) combined

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (or birth pains — it could be that the pestilences, earthquakes and famines are going to increase like a woman experiencing increasing birth pangs as she gets closer to giving birth in relation to the closer we get to The 2nd Coming of Jesus)

With Earthquakes and Pestilences seeming to possibly be entering into near delivery birth stage contractions – The 2nd Coming of Jesus may not be far away. — Earthquakes could be at a ‘2nd Advent of Jesus Return Level’ – Japan 9.0 Earthquake, tied as 4th Strongest Earthquake since 1900 – March 11, 2011 | Haiti 2010 – maybe 200,000 People died | Chile 2010 – 8.8 Earthquake

Regarding Pestilences:

Zephaniah 1:3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls (birds) of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

(With the next Book, keep this in mind –That which was written in the past, was written for our learning).

Hosea 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. 3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls (birds) of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. The First part of this verse may be happening majorly today — being hated of all nations for Jesus sake will probably happen after the Rapture and Take place during the 7 Year End of The World/Tribulation, which could be soon.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  The Anti-Chirst and His Partner the False Prophet being the main two most likely.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Most Likely via The Angel in The Book of Revelation who Proclaims The Gospel to Everyone on Earth)

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) When The Anti-Christ proclaims himself God in a new Temple in Jerusalem, there will be 3-1/2 Years left

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. In The Book of Revelation, The Days are Shortened by 1/3 (8 Hours) – could be from the earth tilting on it’s axis from maybe an asteroid impact or some other type of major situation. The Days will only be 16 Hours long instead of 24, at some point during the End.  (www.bookofrevelationonline.com)
