Thomas Jefferson:

Thomas Jefferson:

“The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend to all the happiness of man.”

“Of all the systems of morality, ancient or modern which have come under my observation, none appears to me so pure as that of Jesus.”Thomas Jefferson-3rd Pictures, Images and Photos

“I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus.”

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever.” (excerpts are inscribed on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial in the nations capital) [Source: Merrill . D. Peterson, ed., Jefferson Writings, (New York: Literary Classics of the United States, Inc., 1984), Vol. IV, p. 289. From Jefferson’s Notes on the State of Virginia, Query XVIII, 1781.]

Major Good Message By Dr. Charles Stanley ::: Turning the Tide

America about to be Bankrupt :::: Dr. Charles Stanley said it may of been: “In 18 Months America will be Insolvent.”

Current National Debt :::: $13,037,542,715,703.81 Trillion — as of June 30, 2010 – (might be at 90% GDP)

The International Monetary Fund released a project that showed deficit
spending would push the U.S. national debt past the magic 100 percent of
GDP by as early as 2012. This level is an important milestone because
every single time a nation has amassed a debt equal to its total
economic output, it has defaulted. www.raptureready.com

2 Thessalonians 2:3 — Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,  ( The day of Christ – The Rapture?/Armageddon ) except there come a falling away first, ( Apostasy ) and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ( The Anti-Christ )

This Day is Practically Here ::: Both Hal Lindsey and Dr. Charles Stanley just said something like “About 100 Years ago The Leaving of Sound Doctrine took place or started to take place” – Apostasy is pretty much here –

Zephaniah 3:17 ::: The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Psalms 11:5-7 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

::::::::::

The Lord trieth the righteous – That is, he “proves” them, searches them, tests the reality of their piety. His dealings with them are such as to test the genuineness of their religion, and are designed to show their sincerity and the real power of their religious principles. It is not for the purpose of destroying them, or punishing them, that he deals with them as he does, but it is to show the reality of their attachment to him. This language seems here to be used to show the feeling of the persecuted and afflicted author of the psalm. He understood the reason why these calamities were suffered to come upon him – to wit, as a trial of his faith; and therefore it was his duty to remain and bear these troubles, and not to attempt to escape from them by flight. He says, therefore, that these troubles in the case of the righteous were in strong contrast with the purpose of the divine dealings toward the wicked, on whom God would “rain” snares, fire, and brimstone. In their case his judgments were for the purpose of punishing and destroying; in the case of the righteous it was to “try” them, or to test the reality of their religion.(A.B.)
