Matthew 24:3 - .....

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of

The End of The World?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars:

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom and there
   shall be famines, and pestilences and earthquakes, in divers places

- Wars and rumors of wars -- WWI, WWII
- Kingdom against Kingdom, Nation against Nation - WWI, WWII
- Earthquakes, Famines - Earthquakes are everywhere everyday and  famines - look at Africa, 
  there always seems to be some type of situation

8 Jesus says these are the beginning of sorrows, then He said,

9 THEN THEY WILL DELIVER YOU UP TO BE AFFLICTED AND SHALL KILL YOU AND YOU WILL BE HATED OF ALL NATIONS FOR MY NAME'S SAKE.

You can't get any more clearer than that. That day is coming soon most likely, because everything else has taken place.

Good to note: *The Next thing on the end time schedule is to be hated of all nations for Jesus name. This is probably going to happen soon.

( This is taking place today, but will find it's ultimate fulfillment during the end I would say )

10 Jesus said then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another           

11 And many false prophets will arise and deceive many

14 And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; And Then Shall The End Happen.

- You can't get any more clearer than this too -

I'll bet the farm proverbially speaking and say verse 14, will be fulfilled by:

• The 144,000 Jewish Witnesses sealed by God during the Tribulation

• The Two Witnesses - Probably Enoch and Elijah

• And the Angel from Revelation 14:6-7

  • 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,  7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made Heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the Prophet......,
      - when the Antichrist stands in the newly re-built temple in Jerusalem and says he's God -

21 Then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 
     - In Daniel it says the Anti-Christ is given power to trample the saints for 42 months -

The next end-time event to take place of being hated for Jesus name will probably happen right here and will probably coincide with the angel in Heaven preaching the Gospel.

The Anti-Christ doesn't have ultimate power I would say until the last 3-1/2 years of the Tribulation.

22 And except those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved.....

- Through this judgment the days on the earth are probably going to be shortened from 24 hours to 16 hours long.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. - Probably the Anti-Christ and his partner who will be able to perform lying wonders I believe.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold he is in the desert; go not forth: behold , he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Let's talk about Israel

The fig tree:

 

Ezekiel 36: 8, 24

⁸ But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come - ( This happened in 1948 )

²⁴ For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. - 1948

Now I'm going to take a little risk here and go to a writing that is not part of the canon of Scripture.

This Book is Called:

The Apocalypse of Peter

[ Some of the following information is taken from The Apocalpyse of Peter at:  http://wesley.nnu.edu/biblical_studies/noncanon/apoc/apcpete.htm ]

This book ranked next in popularity and probably also in date to the Book of Revelation.

The fifth-century church historian Sozomen says that to his knowledge it was still read annually in some churches in Palestine on Good Friday.

Ok now let's get to some interesting info in this writing:

And ye, take ye the likeness therof ( learn a parable ) from the fig-tree: so soon as the shoot therof is come forth and the twigs grown,    The End of The World shall come.

Is this crazy or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I, Peter, answered and said unto him......... What then meaneth the parable of the fig-tree? We know it not.  And the Master (Lord) answered and said unto me: 

Understandest thou not that the fig-tree is the house of Israel?

And in another part Jesus says:  

 

Hast thou not understood that the fig-tree is the house of Israel?? 

Is this crazy or what!!!!!!!

 

Let's keep reading:

Verily I say unto thee, when the twigs thereof have sprouted forth in the last days....... 

And when Israel rejects the Anti-Christ (and does not follow him) he will slay with the sword, and there shall be many martyrs. 

The writing says:

Then shall the  twigs of the fig-tree, that is, the house of Israel, shoot forth: many shall become martyrs at his hand.

This is saying: When the Jews turn from the Anti-Christ - My guess in maybe choosing Jesus, (dying as martyrs) the twigs of the fig tree - The House of Israel - will shoot forth.  That is I would say Israel as a Nation will start to come back to life Spiritually.

Now let's look at the fig tree writing again:

And ye, take ye the likeness therof ( learn a parable ) from the fig-tree: so soon as the shoot therof is come forth and the twigs grown,

The End of The World shall come. 

We could read this maybe as: 

Soon as you see Israel come back the end of the world will happen.

Or interpreting this sentence/verse from more of the text in The Apocalypse of Peter, we get this:

Learn a parable from Israel, as soon as people in Israel die as martyrs (in choosing Jesus?) at the hands of the Anti-christ the End of The World will take place.

From Matthew 24 we get this:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree ( Israel ); When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Let's try and decipher - Now learn a parable of the fig tree ( Israel ) When his branch is yet tender [ let's go to Ezekiel 36:8 ]

 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come - ( This happened in 1948 )

  Grant Jeffrey whom was just on tv recently on His Bible Prophecy show, was saying that Israel produces much fruit - I think like 5 harvests a year he may of said. !

Matthew 24:3 states: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

So we could maybe read Matthew 24:32 and Ezekiel 36:8 In light of Matthew 24:33 as thus:

Now learn a parable from the fig tree Israel, When their mountains put forth fruit, in the end of days ( 1948 ) you know that my return is near? ~ !

Here's a combination from The Apocalypse of Peter & Matthew:  Now learn a parable from the fig tree Israel, when they start to die as martyrs for Jesus you know that His return is right at the doors. 

I think Jesus was generally saying when You see Israel - I would say - know the end is near, in contrasting to Matthew 24:33, and Israel has returned - in 1948.

 

Like I wrote above, I really think we are close to the end of the world beginning.

Enoch and Elias shall be sent to teach them that this is the deceiver ( The Anti-Christ ) which must come into the world and do signs and wonders to deceive. And therefore shall they that die by his hand be martyrs, and shall be reckoned among the good and righteous martyrs who have pleased God in their life

This writing of the Apocalypse of Peter, though it didn't make the canon of Scripture, I think is probably a reputable book.

Grant Jeffrey was just on TV talking about the Apocalypse of Peter too I believe - pretty crazy :)
